This looks like an exciting mystery game with plenty of twists and turns! I'm definitely looking forward to playing it when it drops on Steam. Btw, if you're up for a fun challenge, I'd love to see what you come up with for the WowCube Game Jam: wowcube They have a very interesting platform and are even offering prizes lol
Very nice! Well made puzzles and really intriguing futuristic atmosphere! I would like to play more games like this, well done! I made a gameplay of the game, I hope it's ok. Bye!
Really good. The art style is lovely and so unique. The only thing I had issues with was figuring out how to navigate between screens on a couple occasions, but that might've honestly just been me being an idiot.
DAmmmmnnn i like it so much, sometimes I just went through the options until I found the right one, for example in the solicitor's occupation tabs:_) But overall the game is awesome, I'll really be waiting for the Steam game!
I think that was intentional, because in the call you can already hear hes distressed and he says he is tied to a chair. And the call time gets recorded when it ends I think (atleast that would make sense with this logic being applied). So then it would make sense that the reservation is earlier then the call recorded time. I also got tricked by that, so you’re not the only one.
I really enjoyed this! I was a bit confused at the end because for some reason, it just ended on a blank screen (I did a quick replay and found out that this wasn't on purpose). Overall, fun short game.
Yoooo, this was SO GOOD! The game hooked me from the start, and every new discovery made me want to keep digging until I finished it.
Great setting and story for a mystery game, wonderful artwork, GUI, aesthetics and music, and really fun gameplay with just enough hints and information to piece everything together.
The story setting and map feature reminded me a bit of Neo Cab, which was cool. The CRT/glitch effect shaders used in the GUI were a really nice touch, and I'm glad you added a toggle for that!
I loved this game!!! I have to agree with Tahnan about the periodic static effect, I was starting to feel a bit sick (I played the web version).
But the game itself was great: I loved the gameplay and the way we could deduct all the info through the various things in the PDA and in the hotel room.
Do you plan on releasing other games like this one? (Please say yes!!!!)
Just one thing I didn't understand: what did the plant in the hotel had to do with the clues?
This was a fun game. I really like the variations on the Obra Dinn mechanic. The ability to verify the solutions individually makes it quite easy to brute force. The interrogation bit was a really neat idea but would need some refinement to work properly. Overall though a really clever spin on the deduction game.
I'm really intrigued...but also I have to admit that the periodic static effect is making me kind of seasick, to the point that I had to set it aside after only a minute or two. Is there any way to turn that off?
Either the toning-down worked or I was just more prepared for it, but I'm glad I came back and played it through. That was fun! (I admit I had to brute force the suspect's age though.)

one of the favorites already!!! Its so damn cool and the interface is relatively easy to use but still gives that investigator-like vibes.

Giving me Snatcher vibes. Nice art and music. My only complaint would be that I wish it were more challenging.
Broooo the plot twist at the end remembered me of when my dad would wait for me with a belt outside of my bedroom 😭
Loved it! Very interactive, nice sound design! Looking forward to a full game. I could play this for a good while :)
can anyone help me what is the first and last name part?
edit: i solved it myself lol, still it didn't match up with the time being called tho

It was an interesting experience and a lovely little mystery. Looking forward to the full game.

this was really cool! i really liked the art style and the world was really interesting. will your next game be set in the same universe?
is it just me or is this game really hard
I loved this game!!!

Thanks for this wonderful game!!!
Hey! Thanks for the nice comment.
We do plan to release more games in the deductive deduction genre and we're working on a bigger game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2797960/Confidential_Killings/
The plant was there to setup the scene and better describe the world you've found yourself in :)
Gameplay and Critique ;)

Thank you! We decided to leave the brute force as a viable option for people who get stuck.
I'm really intrigued...but also I have to admit that the periodic static effect is making me kind of seasick, to the point that I had to set it aside after only a minute or two. Is there any way to turn that off?
Hey I toned it down in the last build. Also I've added a 'CRT Effect' toggle in settings. It's on 1.0.1 zip file
Awesome! I'll take another look.
I think you forgot to update the web build with that feature?
Hey I didn't forget there's some unclear directions if it's allowed in this game jam we entered.
When it clears out I'll update the web build as well
Either the toning-down worked or I was just more prepared for it, but I'm glad I came back and played it through. That was fun! (I admit I had to brute force the suspect's age though.)
